A Ghost is a virtual opponent that shows you exactly where you or a friend ran, biked, or drove on a previous attempt.
It appears on the map in real time — letting you race against your own personal best or someone else’s record on the exact same route.
Beat your ghost = new personal record.
Beat a friend’s ghost = bragging rights.
Drop a pin anywhere or search for a location and race straight to it. Perfect for commutes or spontaneous challenges.
Set a target distance (1 mi, 2 mi, custom) and crush it. Even have it tell you when you are at the halfway point, so you can end where you began.
No rules. Just go. Race your personal ghost or set your own pace goals.
Race your friend to a location in real-time, or take on public races that others have accomplished and uploaded.
Replay any route you’ve run before and try to beat your previous best time. You can adjust the speed of your last time for a greater challenge.
Unlock trophies for anything from completing the race at a special location to pulling off a come-from-behind win. Each one comes with a Latin name and a motivational “curse”.
