Why does Cursus need location (GPS) permission?

Cursus uses your device's GPS to track your route, speed and time during a race and to show community routes near you. Location is only used while you are using the app for racing. You can change the permission at any time in your device's Settings > Apps > Cursus > Permissions. Without location access, races cannot be recorded.

GPS seems inaccurate or my race didn't record properly.

Make sure location is set to "Precise", you are outdoors with a clear view of the sky, and battery saver isn't restricting Cursus. Wait a few seconds for a GPS lock before starting a race.

How do I sign in?

Cursus uses Google Sign-In. Signing in lets you back up your race history, publish community routes, appear on leaderboards and join live races. If sign-in fails, check your internet connection, make sure Google Play services are up to date, and try again.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete account while signed in. You can also request deletion by email. Full details, including what data is deleted, are on our account deletion page.
