Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cursus mobile apps and the cursus-app.com website (together, "Cursus"), provided by LazyRs Studios, LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using Cursus you agree to these Terms.
1. Safety first
Cursus turns movement into a race, but you must always obey traffic laws, speed limits, and local rules, and pay attention to your surroundings. Never interact with the app while driving; set it up before you go or let a passenger use it. Do not trespass, and do not race on routes that are unsafe. Times and routes are for fun only and are not a challenge to break any law. You use Cursus at your own risk.
2. Accounts
You need an account (Google or email and password) for online features. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Cursus.
3. Community routes and leaderboards
When you publish a route or post a time, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and display it (including your display name, GPS path, and time) to other Cursus users. Do not publish routes that start or end at a private home, that pass through private property, or that are dangerous. Do not cheat, spoof GPS, or post times you did not earn. We may remove routes or times and suspend accounts that break these Terms.
4. Free version, ads, and purchases
The free version of Cursus may show ads. Paid upgrades or subscriptions are sold through Google Play or the Apple App Store and are subject to their terms and refund policies. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store account. Features included in a paid upgrade may change over time.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Cursus: no reverse engineering, abuse of other users, attempts to access other accounts or data, or automated scraping.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Cursus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. GPS, distance, pace, and health readings may be inaccurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LazyRs Studios, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injury, accident, traffic citation, or property damage arising from your use of Cursus. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time; see Delete account. We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms and will post the new version here. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA.
